The ETCON SKCX splice kit allows the technician to complete a direct burial splice for RG6, RG11, and RG59 wires, and 2-4 pair phone wires. The splice enclosure is quick and easy to install. No special tools are required, no mixing of any compounds, laborious taping, messy gels, or dangerous, "heat shrinking" flames. The splice enclosures are completely re-enterable for visual inspection. The splice enclosure is manufactured with an engineering grade polymer-based outer housing that resists moisture, petroleum-based products, chemicals and rodents. The SKCX provides additional pullout strength for added splice quality.
